Unfortunately, we’ve made the decision to cancel The Santa Clause watch party.

After hosting our first Teleparty, we discovered an unexpected issue that makes it very difficult to keep everyone watching together. The biggest challenge is that streaming ads don’t sync across viewers. Since some people see different ads, some have longer ad breaks, and others have ad-free subscriptions, everyone ends up at different points in the movie.

With Disney+ offering both ad-supported and ad-free plans, there just isn’t a reliable way for us to keep everyone synchronized during The Santa Clause.

I know this is disappointing, and I’m so sorry! I was really looking forward to spending another cozy Christmas movie night with all of you. Rather than have a frustrating experience, I felt it was better to cancel the official watch party.

I hope you’ll still take some time to enjoy The Santa Clause with your family or friends and keep the Christmas spirit going. 🎄❤️
